Biomes

In the aftermath of the cataclysm that reshaped the world, the survivors of Crypterra found themselves facing a new challenge: the gaps between the biomes. These vast expanses of barren land and empty sky of unknown color were unlike anything they had seen before. They were devoid of life, resources, and landmarks, and the winds that swept across them were laced with a strange, disorienting energy.
At first, the Gaps were seen as mere obstacles to overcome. Scientists tried to map them with temporal sensors but found that the Gaps were not just empty spaces, but anomalies in the fabric of reality itself. They tried to build bridges and vehicles that could traverse the gaps or explore the gaps on foot, but the dangers and uncertainties were too great.
As time passed, the Gaps became more than just obstacles. They became symbols of the modern world - the unknown, the unpredictable, and the uncontrollable. They were places where the rules of nature and logic did not apply, where strange phenomena and creatures could appear at any moment, and where even the strongest and bravest could lose their minds and their way.
The only way survivors now know how to pass Gaps is using Mechas. Electromagnetic fields of Gaps disable any equipment, but If you send Tempore energy to the Mechas navigation and defense systems instead of traditional energy sources, their functionality is preserved in, allowing them to travel between biomes.
Of course, this makes life on Crypterra more difficult, but the goals of each faction, whether it is the Great Purge, the New World Order, or simply survival, require Tempore and it takes a lot of it.
