🔎Mining $ERA

The main resource of Crypterra is $ERA, also known as Tempore crystals.

$ERA is mined on expeditions around Crypterra. Expeditions take place in specific zones within biomes. To conduct an expedition, you need to send a squad (several Crypterians and a Mecha) with sufficient energy and power to a chosen zone.

Once an expedition is completed, the squad will be unavailable until 00:00 UTC. Each squad can only go on one expedition per day.

Preparing for the expedition

1. You can get Crypterrians and Mechas through minting. The cost of minting one unit is 19.9 USD in $ERA tokens.

2. To start an expedition, you need to build a squad consisting of one Mecha and Crypterrians. The number of Crypterrians is determined by the Mecha's capacity. It is recommended to form a squad of Crypterrians from the same faction to avoid debuffs.
3. Choose a zone that your squad has enough characteristics to explore. Make sure that your squad's POWER is equal to or greater than the POWER of the zone. You can refer to the Zone Stats Table for more information.
4. Choose a biome suitable for your faction to avoid debuffs and activate crypterrians bonuses.
5. Start the expedition. Remember that you can customise the amount of Energy you're ready to spend on each expedition which directly influences your winrate.

6. Remember to recharge your Mecha's energy and heal your squad's health after the expedition. Purchasing a medical module will significantly reduce squad healing costs.

Withdraw Rewards

Your $ERA tokens from expeditions will be deposited into your personal reward pool. You have an option to withdraw your rewards immediately to your wallet, but there will be a 30% fee.

Alternatively, you can wait for the fee to decrease by 2% every day of playing. After 15 days, the fee will reach 0%, allowing you to withdraw without any fees.

Please note that each withdrawal resets the withdrawal fee back to 30%.

You can use the $ERA tokens in your pool to pay for minting, recharge your energy and HP, or purchase a medical module without incurring any fee at any time.
